Hello and welcome to Google Maps API Projects.

The new PhpFusion based site is proving popular, since it's lauch at the start of August 2008 it has seen over 4500 unique visits.

Feedback from users via the forum has enabled me to make various modifications of ClusterMarker available and today sees the release of version 1.3.1 of ClusterMarker.

Alongside the existing projects i shall publish various modified versions of some projects, giving map developers a chance to see features that may be incorporated in new versions.

Modified versions of ClusterMarker to date show:

• A dynamic sidebar modification that creates and updates a sidebar as the map is panned and zoomed, removing sidebar entries as markers leave the map viewport and adding them back to the sidebar as markers come back into view.
• Dynamic cluster marker icons - where a cluster marker's icon is chosen according to the number of markers within that cluster.
• minClusterSize - a modification to only create a cluster if the number of markers within that cluster meets a minimum number.

A much requested feature is for ClusterMarker's cluster marker icons to show the number of markers within that cluster. This is still a work in progress and will be online once i have a working example.

A problem has been identified with HtmlControl and i am working on a fix - check out the HtmlControl: Future Development article for more information.
